How long do cosmetic tattoos last?

Lips:
Immediately after the procedure, lips appear brighter in colour.
This intensity usually lasts around 2–3 days.
Mild swelling is possible and typically subsides within 24 hours.

Brows:
Brows usually heal within 5–7 days.

Lash line / eyeliner:
The healing process also takes approximately 5–7 days.

During healing, results look like fresh, well-applied makeup.
There is no need to hide at home or avoid going out — most clients feel comfortable continuing their normal routine.

Is the procedure painful?

You may feel mild discomfort during the procedure, which is normal, as the skin is being worked on.
I use high-quality topical anaesthetic, approved and available under Australian regulations, which significantly reduces uncomfortable sensations.

Pain perception varies from person to person depending on individual pain threshold, so some sensitivity is possible.
However, in practice, most clients describe the procedure as very manageable and return for other areas, often bringing family members and friends.

What is the aftercare process for cosmetic tattoos?

After the procedure, you will receive a detailed aftercare card with clear instructions on how to care for the treated area.
I also provide the necessary aftercare balms to support proper healing.

During your appointment, I explain the entire aftercare process in detail.
In general, aftercare is very simple — the main goal is to keep the area clean and protected while the skin heals.
The process is easy, does not interfere with daily life, and requires minimal effort.
